Kimberly - Founder & CEO, Production & Design Kimberly “Kim” is the CEO and Founder of NOLA Event Planners, Production & Design. She's always been a hostess-with-the mostess and comes from a long line of party planning people. She planned her first event on the school playground for a friend who was moving away (when she was in elementary school, LOL). Over the years, she has moved from planning juice box parties on the playground to extravagant, over-the-top events for hundreds of clients. Kim has been a nurse for over twenty-two years. Kim has a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Dillard University; a Master’s Degree in Nursing Administration and Informatics from Kaplan University. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Kimberly's work has been admired in the hospitality, weddings, and corporate industries. Her client list includes well known entertainers, prominent government and corporate leaders. Most recently this list includes New Orleans’ Mayor LaToya Cantrell, City Councilwoman Cyndi Nguyen, Patti LaBelle, MC Lyte and David Tutera. In 2019, NOLA Event Planners & Productions Team had the esteemed privilege of producing Dillard University 150th Anniversary Gala and ancillary events, that welcomed celebrities and dignitaries to the City of New Orleans. Kimberly is the proud 2nd place winner in the 2018 SBDC - Capital One "Getting Down to Business" Program. She also completed the Urban League New Orleans Women in Business Challenge 2017. NOLA Event Planners, LLC has the following special certifications: Louisiana Economic Development's Hudson Initiative, DBE, SLDBE.
